How old must my child be to attend?

Children must be three years old by the program start date to attend our program. Click here for more program details. If demand for our classes allow, you may be offered the choice to pay the monthly tuition fee in order to hold a spot until your child is old enough to attend.

What is the cost?

Please click here to see our fee schedule in the right-hand column of our registration page. Families can also apply to the government of Alberta Child Care Subsidy Program.

How many children are in a class?

For the 2018-2019 school year, there will be a maximum of 18 children in a class with two teachers.

Do you follow a curriculum?

We use Play, Participation & Possibilities as our curriculum guide. We recognize that children are capable learners, and provide opportunities for high-quality play where children are co-constructing the curriculum with the teachers based on their interests and discoveries. 

What are the parental requirements?

There are NO parent duty days, NO fundraising, NO casinos and NO committee activities required from parents. Although not required, parent volunteers are welcome in the classroom.

Do you accept children who are PUF funded?

We accept children into our program who receive PUF funding through other organizations, such as the Seden Centre, Community Options, Centre for Autism Services Alberta and Children’s Autism Services.

Do you provide snacks?

Parents are responsible for sending a nutritious snack and a water bottle for their child. All nuts and nut products are to be excluded from snack items due to allergies of teachers and students.

Do you provide transportation?

Transportation to and from school is the responsibility of the parent.

What should I send to school with my child?

Please send a pair of running shoes (to be left at the school), a nutritious snack, a water bottle and a complete change of clothes each day. Please also send your child with appropriate outdoor wear (snow pants, hat and mittens) as we try to take the children outside each class.

I registered online, but I still haven’t heard from administration. What’s going on?

Parents are reminded to add to their contacts to ensure that reply emails do not go to email spam/junk folders. If you have not heard from our administrator within 5 days of your online application submission, please check your email’s junk or spam folder.
